Ahmad Danial is the Managing Partner of Ahmad Danial Iswatt & Luqman (ADIL) and leads the firm’s corporate, commercial and projects advisory practice. He advises corporations, multinational companies, financial institutions and project stakeholders on complex transactional, regulatory and commercial matters, with particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, real estate, construction-related advisory, and the energy and oil & gas sectors.
He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July 2014, after reading in chambers at Messrs Ainul Azam & Co. He holds an LL.B (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi MARA, as well as an MBA and a Diploma in Legal Studies and Administration (DLSA) from the same institution.
Prior to co-founding ADIL, Ahmad Danial was a Partner at Messrs Norizan & Associates, where he headed the corporate and conveyancing department. His experience includes advising on corporate restructuring, equity funding, shareholders’ arrangements and joint venture structures, as well as providing legal advisory to clients participating in competitive tenders and bidding exercises for engineering, construction and energy projects. He regularly advises financial institutions on retail and trade banking documentation, and acts for multinational clients on regulatory, commercial and operational matters relating to their operations in Malaysia.
As Managing Partner, Ahmad Danial oversees the firm’s strategic direction and key client relationships, and is recognised for delivering commercially sound legal solutions grounded in practical insight, regulatory awareness and disciplined execution.
